Birth Story Doula Services

Birth and Postpartum
Doula Services

Fredericton, New-Brunswick, Canada

A doula is a trained and experienced professional who offers informational, physical and emotional support to an expectant woman and her partner before, during and after childbirth. Not a doctor nor a midwife, the doula supports the family in a non-medical way.

YOUR DOULA

Originally from France, I made Canada my home more than 20 years ago and have been raising my family of four in New Brunswick since 2008.

My passion for birth and motherhood first led me to work as a VON Healthy Baby and Me facilitator. I later earned my certification in perinatal naturopathy from the Mère & Monde Maternity Center in Montreal, where I now train new doulas as an instructor.

As the Founder and President of the Doulas of New Brunswick (DNB)—a nonprofit professional association dedicated to promoting high standards of perinatal support across the province—I remain closely connected with doulas throughout New Brunswick.

Drawing on both my professional training and personal experiences, I believe pregnancy and childbirth are normal life events that should be approached with confidence rather than fear.

My role is to provide informational, emotional, and physical support, grounded in evidence-based practice and respectful collaboration with healthcare providers. Helping families make informed decisions and feel empowered throughout their journey is my goal!

BIRTH STORIES

Thank you, Pascaline, for your continued support and guidance throughout the last weeks of our pregnancy, the first days of our baby's life, and most importantly, for your calm and helpful advice during the birth.

Vanessa Haché Breau

Pascaline provided tremendous support during my pregnancy, during labor, and afterward. Her help throughout my second high risk pregnancy was invaluable, both in terms of information and practical support.

Stéphanie Turpin Meloni

My birth experience with Pascaline as a Doula was magical! I felt supported in my decisions and educated so I could make informed choices about the interventions during childbirth and the care given to my newborn. Her expertise and presence were greatly appreciated as she made me feel confident during this important event in my life. Thank you for your support!
